Wireless Sensor Networks for Traffic Management and Road Safety
Ad hoc wireless networks and data processinf for traffic monitoring

Device-free localization
Localization and tracking of passive targets (people, objects) moving in an area covered by a peer-to-peer wireless network.
Applications: emergency and rescue operations, access control and counting, pedestrian traffic monitoring and modeling, home automation applications.
